We advise our members of all of the District, County and other special events so that they can decide if they would like to take part.

Our Group encourages every member to participate in these events and we provide appropriate training and support to ensure the safety of all members

Our Group believes in giving every member the opportunity to take part in the various Group and District events and activities regardless of their capabilities.

We do not put our members through a selection process in order to choose the “best” Cub or Scout for the event.

First refusal for entry into District Competitions, where there is a limit on numbers attending, is always given to new members and those who have not previously been able to enter.

To us, giving a child an opportunity to experience a new challenge or adventure is more important than winning a competition. Our Sections have participated in many District events.
