2nd Woodley was formed in October 1959 and met at Chapel Hall. In the early 1980’s the Group relocated to Christchurch and in August 2003 we obtained our own Headquarters in Vauxhall Park, Vauxhall Drive, Woodley RG5 4EA.
During the past year the Group has achieved many targets including enthusiastic fund raising and the expansion of Group membership for both boys and girls.
We will always welcome any potential new members to pay us a visit and join our team.
Our members’ parents have consented to their child’s photographs and videos being featured, as appropriate, on our website – for Scouting purposes only.
Our Safeguarding Policy requires parents to ensure that two Leaders are present when they deliver their child to our Hall and also that they collect their child from our Hall at the end of our meeting.
There’s something for every young person in our Group. Scouting offers a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.
Boys and girls from 5¾ to 14 years of age are very welcome to pay us a visit for a few taster sessions – without any obligation – to see if they enjoy the fun and friendship that we all have to offer. If they decide to be part of our Group then they can join and become a full member. We look forward to you becoming part of our Group and having fun.
